Concord Hospital - HWL
Mid Level
Step into a purpose-driven journey as a Registered Nurse in the PCU, anchored in Concord, New Hampshire. This travel-inspired opportunity empowers you to deliver high-acuity care with compassion, precision, and teamwork that save lives and support families during pivotal moments. Beginning on 03/02/2026 for a multi-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week, you’ll contribute to a Progressive Care Unit where stable, monitored patients transition from critical status to optimized recovery. This role is more than a placement; it’s a clear path to deepen your clinical expertise, strengthen leadership capabilities, and drive meaningful outcomes for diverse patient populations while advancing your professional trajectory within a supportive, values-driven organization.

Concord blends the best of New England life with modern healthcare opportunities. Working here means immersion in a city known for its historic charm, vibrant cultural scene, parks, and a convenient gateway to outdoor adventures. Beyond the base assignment, there’s the exciting prospect of occasional placements across the United States, expanding your clinical exposure in varied hospital environments while maintaining a consistent home base in a welcoming Northeast state. Residents enjoy a balanced lifestyle—walkable neighborhoods, engaging dining and arts, and access to nearby lakes and mountain ranges for quick getaways that refresh you before your next shift. This location also offers a thoughtful environment for families and professionals alike, with community resources, reputable schools, and a robust healthcare network that values patient-centered care and collegial collaboration.

In this PCU RN role, you’ll manage a spectrum of responsibilities designed to sharpen your judgment and expand your skill set. Core duties include continuous patient monitoring and telemetry interpretation, timely administration and titration of medications, IV therapies, and wound care as indicated. You’ll participate in multidisciplinary care planning, communicate clearly with patients and families about diagnoses and discharge instructions, and respond adeptly to evolving patient conditions. The assignment provides robust professional growth opportunities: deepen expertise within the PCU pathway, take on mentorship or preceptorship for new staff, and pursue specialty certifications that align with your career goals. The compensation package is competitive and complemented by thoughtful support: weekly pay in the range of $2,192 to $2,223, plus a bonus, housing assistance, and chances for extension so you can continue building relationships with the team and the community you come to know. Comprehensive support is a cornerstone of the experience, including 24/7 assistance while you travel with the company, help with onboarding, housing logistics, and ongoing access to resources designed to reduce stress and maximize your focus on delivering excellent patient care. You’ll work alongside skilled colleagues who uphold evidence-based practice, patient safety, and a culture of mutual respect, gaining exposure to a broad range of PCU protocols, technologies, and patient populations that refine clinical acumen and collaborative practice.

Our company’s values center on empowering nurses to grow and succeed. You’ll find a workplace that encourages initiative, supports career advancement, and fosters a nurturing environment where your contributions are recognized and your professional development is prioritized. Whether your aim is to deepen clinical mastery, explore leadership opportunities, or experience diverse healthcare settings, we provide mentorship, ongoing education, and transparent pathways to extended assignments or permanent roles as opportunities arise. The emphasis is on your long-term success as a compassionate, skilled clinician who makes a lasting impact on patients, families, and the broader healthcare community.
