Lewiston, ME
Contracted
Marshwood Ctr
Mid Level
Take your nursing expertise to the heart of long-term care in Lewiston, Maine, where every shift is a chance to elevate comfort, dignity, and independence for our aging communities. As a Registered Nurse specializing in LTC, you will lead compassionate care that blends clinical excellence with person-centered support, guiding residents through daily routines, complex needs, and meaningful milestones. This assignment begins on 02/02/2026 and runs for several weeks, offering a structured pathway to sharpen geriatric skills, build meaningful mentor relationships, and make a lasting impact on residents, families, and the care team. Maine’s scenic beauty—from lush river corridors to vibrant town centers—creates a workplace you can be proud of, while inviting you to unwind and recharge in a state known for its seasonal charm, outdoor recreation, and welcoming communities.

Lewiston situates you in a community with a rich blend of historical charm and modern vitality. You’ll benefit from a supportive clinical environment, accessible amenities, and a patient population that values attentive, compassionate care. The region’s affordable housing options, safe neighborhoods, and proximity to nature provide a balanced backdrop for rigorous clinical work and personal well-being. For nurses seeking geographic flexibility, our program also presents opportunities to experience assignments across the United States, expanding your professional repertoire in diverse settings—from bustling urban centers to quieter, patient-focused facilities. Across locations, you’ll enjoy consistent access to resources and a network of colleagues who share your commitment to quality geriatric care, with the same emphasis on safety, teamwork, and professional development that you’ll find in Lewiston.

In this role, you’ll own a comprehensive set of responsibilities designed to advance resident health and quality of life. Core duties include performing thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications safely and accurately, monitoring vital signs and responsive changes in conditions, and coordinating with physicians and the interprofessional team to optimize treatment strategies. You’ll lead wound care initiatives, manage chronic disease care, support mobility and fall prevention programs, and uphold infection control and high standards of documentation in electronic health records. Your communication with residents and families will be clear, compassionate, and transparent, ensuring everyone understands care goals and progress. As a clinical leader, you’ll mentor CNAs and support staff, contribute to continuous quality improvement, and participate in in-service education. The role also offers pathways for professional growth, including certifications in geriatrics, leadership opportunities within the facility, and the chance to influence best practices through evidence-based care.

This position offers a compelling benefits package that reinforces your commitment and well-being. You’ll earn competitive weekly pay in the range of $1,581–$1,664, with the possibility of a sign-on bonus, rewarding you for your expertise and dedication. Housing assistance helps simplify relocation or temporary housing needs, and there are extension opportunities that let you lengthen your assignment based on mutual interest and performance. The role includes comprehensive support from our team, including 24/7 assistance while you travel with the company, a dedicated clinical liaison, and a thorough orientation to ensure you feel confident from day one. Flexible scheduling and a supportive environment mean you can maintain balance while delivering exceptional care, with resources to pursue additional training, certifications, and leadership development as you progress in LTC.

Our company is rooted in values that empower nursing professionals to grow within a collaborative, respectful, and forward-thinking culture. We are committed to fostering a workplace where every RN can advance their career, expand clinical expertise, and be rewarded for impact and initiative. You’ll join a network that prioritizes mentorship, open communication, ongoing education, and recognition of achievements, ensuring you feel valued and supported as you contribute to better resident outcomes and a stronger LTC community. The focus is on your professional trajectory as much as on daily patient care, with opportunities to lead quality projects, influence care standards, and build lasting relationships with colleagues across the organization.

Ready to apply? This is your chance to join a company that values your contribution and supports your professional development as you deliver compassionate, high-quality geriatric care.
