PHHC Acquisition Corp - Denver, CO
Mid Level
Seize the opportunity to elevate patient outcomes as a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant specializing in Physical Therapy within Colorado, Denver. This role invites you to apply clinical expertise, foster independence, and leave a lasting impact on diverse patient populations. Imagine guiding someone from assistive devices back to daily activities amid the Colorado sunshine, the Front Range foothills, and community clinics that feel like home. Colorado is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes—from the grandeur of Rocky Mountain peaks to vibrant urban neighborhoods in Denver—where outdoor adventures coexist with professional growth. When you’re not in the clinic, you can explore trails, craft beer scenes, and a cultural calendar that blends family-friendly alpine escapes with metropolitan experiences. Your work matters here, and so does your life outside the clinic.
Location Benefits: Working in Colorado, Denver places you at the heart of a dynamic healthcare market with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation services, outpatient therapy, and integrated care. You’ll collaborate with skilled PTs, therapists, and support teams who value evidence-based practice, patient-centered outcomes, and meaningful autonomy in your clinical decisions. The region offers diverse settings—from busy outpatient clinics and hospital-based satellite sites to community rehab programs—giving you the chance to tailor your experience to your interests, whether you’re drawn to orthopedic, neuro, or pediatric rehab. Beyond the clinic walls, you’ll enjoy access to Colorado’s outdoor playgrounds, cultural districts, and a thriving arts scene, all within reach of easy weekend getaways. Plus, as part of our program, there’s the possibility to work in various locations across the U.S., broadening your professional horizons, expanding your network, and enriching your clinical repertoire with exposure to different care models and patient demographics.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll support Physical Therapy teams in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services. Key responsibilities include conducting therapeutic exercises and mobility training under the supervision of licensed PTs; implementing treatment plans, gait training, transfer training, balance and strength activities, neuromuscular re-education, and pain management modalities; accurately documenting patient progress, outcomes, and any changes to the plan of care; communicating with PTs and care coordinators to optimize discharge planning and follow-up; educating patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and activity modification; and ensuring safety, infection control, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role offers professional growth through exposure to orthopedics, neuro rehab, geriatric care, and pediatric settings, with opportunities to develop specialty skills, mentorship, and continuing education aligned with your career goals. We provide competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1,600-$1,712, guaranteed hours of 40 per week, starting 12/26/2025, for a contract lasting several weeks with clear extension opportunities if you wish to continue your assignment. In addition to base pay, you’ll have access to a sign-on bonus in some placements, housing assistance to ease transitions, and the ability to extend contracts to gain broader experience. Comprehensive support is a hallmark of our program, including 24/7 assistance for travelers, dedicated travel coordinators, and a robust network of on-site and remote resources to troubleshoot clinical, logistical, and personal needs as they arise. You’ll be supported every step of the way—from onboarding to completion—so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care and advancing your expertise.
Company Values: Our organization is built on empowering staff, advancing careers, and cultivating a supportive, collaborative work environment. We invest in your professional development through mentorship, skill-building opportunities, and a culture that values curiosity, accountability, and patient-first care. We recognize the unique contributions you bring as a Traveling PTA, celebrate milestones, and provide a pathway for long-term growth within a diverse network of clinics and communities. Our commitment to work-life equilibrium means you’ll have predictable hours, access to resources for housing and relocation when needed, and a team that treats you as a partner in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.
