Hallock, MN
Contracted
Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center Long Term Care Services
Mid Level
Join us as a Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care in Hallock, Minnesota, and become a beacon of comfort, dignity, and vitality for residents who rely on your expertise each day. In this role, you’ll blend clinical excellence with compassionate companionship, guiding care plans, supporting families, and mentoring care teams to elevate the standard of LTC across shifts and seasons. Picture yourself orchestrating healing in a setting where small moments matter—a smile that reassures a resident before a procedure, a carefully managed medication schedule, and a coordinated plan that reduces unnecessary hospital transfers. And when you step outside the facility, Minnesota reveals its beauty: clean lakes reflecting clear skies, expansive trails through pine and prairie, vibrant fall color, and a community that values resilience and connection. Hallock’s friendly streets and northern charm create a supportive home base while your career unfolds across a broader network through our travel program.
Working in Hallock offers the benefits of a close-knit community and high-quality LTC practice, with the flexibility to explore roles in varied locations across the United States through our travel partnerships. You’ll experience a balance of meaningful clinical impact and personal well-being, with opportunities to learn from diverse patient populations while retaining the comfort of a stable guaranteed schedule. This alignment supports your growth as a clinician who can adapt care plans to individual needs while appreciating the year-round rhythms of rural Minnesota life.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, managing wound and skin integrity, coordinating rehabilitative therapies, preventing falls, and supporting end-of-life care in alignment with resident goals. You’ll document thoroughly, communicate clearly with families and interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for residents’ preferences and safety across shifts. The role offers clear pathways for professional growth within the LTC specialty—from advanced wound care and infection control to leadership experiences in charge nurse or clinical educator tracks. We provide competitive benefits designed to acknowledge your expertise: a sign-on bonus to recognize your commitment, housing assistance to ease transition and relocation, and extension opportunities that let you deepen your impact with continued assignments. Our program includes robust 24/7 support while you travel with the company, ensuring you have expert guidance, resources, and a responsive help desk at all times. You’ll join a stable, friendly support network that values your input, protects your well-being, and keeps you connected to best practices in geriatric care.
Our organization is built on empowering staff, with a clear focus on career advancement and a supportive environment. We invest in continuing education, mentorship, and collaboration with experienced LTC leaders to help you grow from bedside nurse to expert clinician or leader. You’ll find that teamwork, respect, and integrity aren’t just words on a wall—they’re the daily framework that drives better resident outcomes and a more fulfilling professional life.
