As an EEG Tech, you’ll be responsible for delivering precise neurophysiologic testing that informs neurologists and epilepsy teams. Core duties include:
- Conducting EEG procedures with meticulous electrode placement, adequate impedance checks, and high-quality signal acquisition.
- Preparing patients for testing, explaining procedures clearly, maintaining comfort, and ensuring safety throughout the session.
- Calibrating and troubleshooting EEG equipment, documenting test parameters, and communicating findings succinctly to the care team.
- Collaborating with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to coordinate scheduling, data review, and follow-up as needed.
- Upholding strict infection control standards, charting results, and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
