In this role, you’ll partner with surgeons, perioperative nurses, and anesthesia teams to ensure every step of the procedure runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include setting up the sterile field, selecting and arranging instruments, preparing implants, and assisting with sponge, needle, and instrument counts to prevent discrepancies. You’ll support draping, help maintain hemostasis, assist in instrument retrieval and specimen handling, and play a critical role in turnover activities between cases.
