RN - PACU Travel Nurse | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit | 2,245/Week

💰 Weekly Pay Package:
- Weekly Pay Package: $2,245/week | $65/hr equivalent at home
- Take-home pay with an estimated 20% tax bracket is $2079/week. (You will need to make close to $2600/week or $65/hr at home to take home $1985/week)
- 40 hours per week
- 12-hour Night Shifts
- Some Saturdays required, along with holiday and weekend shifts.
📋 Assignment Details:
- Unit: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Patient Population: High-acuity post-surgical patients requiring advanced critical care skills.
- Duration: 16 weeks
🌟 Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to post-anesthesia patients, including managing art lines, titrating multiple drips, and cardiac monitoring.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and monitor post-operative patients.
- Document care in EPIC EMR (experience within the past 2 years required).
📋 Requirements:
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years in a high-acuity PACU.
- Critical care skills including infusion therapy, art lines, titrating drips, and cardiac monitoring.
- Must have experience in a large teaching facility.
- Preferred: Infusion specialty certification.
- Documentation:
- Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) with any gaps over 30 days explained.
🚦 Important Notes:
- No block schedules permitted.
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible).
- Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires from November–April.
