Samaritan Healthcare
Mid Level
Embark on a pivotal journey as a Sterile Processing Tech in Moses Lake, Washington, beginning December 18, 2025. In this role, your meticulous work ensures that every instrument, tray, and device entering the operating room meets the highest standards of cleanliness, sterility, and reliability. Your actions protect patients, empower clinicians, and uphold the trust at the heart of modern healthcare. This is not just a job; it is a vital service that fuels safe, efficient care across busy operating suites and urgent procedures. When you’re not on shift, you’ll discover why Washington is celebrated for its natural beauty—from sunlit days along pristine lakes to dramatic mountain vistas and wide open skies. The state’s outdoor playgrounds offer refreshing escapes and inspiration while you recharge for the next day’s mission.

Moses Lake offers a welcoming community, affordable living, and convenient access to outdoor activities that fit busy healthcare schedules. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art facility that values precision and safety, with the flexibility to connect with other locations across the U.S. through our extended travel programs. This role supports work-life balance with reliable hours and the option to experience diverse clinical settings, from urban centers to scenic rural communities. Across Washington and beyond, you’ll gain exposure to a range of sterile processing environments, learning cutting-edge techniques and standard practices while building a robust, portable skill set.

Key responsibilities include decontamination of instruments, meticulous inspection, de-packaging, sterilization using steam, low-temperature, and chemical methods, sorting and tray building, instrument tracking and inventory control, and ensuring accurate documentation for regulatory compliance. You’ll maintain pristine storage areas, participate in routine QC checks, and collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate instrument needs. The position provides a clear path for professional growth in Sterile Processing, with opportunities to earn additional certifications, take on lead responsibilities, or transition to more complex reprocessing roles within the system. Our benefits package is designed to reward expertise and dedication: a competitive weekly pay range of $1,495 to $1,551, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and a comprehensive package that may include a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and opportunities for contract extension. You’ll have access to continuous, 24/7 support while traveling with the company, ensuring you’re never alone when questions arise or a schedule change occurs. Our programs are built to recognize and celebrate peak performance, with structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing development that keeps your skills sharp and aligned with evolving industry standards.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to empowering our staff. We believe in transparent career pathways, ongoing education, and a supportive, team-driven culture where your contributions are seen, heard, and rewarded.
