As a Medical Laboratory Technician on this assignment, you will perform routine and specialized analyses in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, or transfusion medicine as assigned. You’ll ensure specimen integrity, proper labeling, accurate results, and timely reporting through LIS, while executing quality-control procedures and proficiency testing in compliance with CLIA, CAP, and HIPAA. You’ll troubleshoot instruments, escalate critical values, and collaborate with clinicians and nurses to guide patient care. The role provides a clear path for growth within the MLT specialty, with opportunities to cross-train, refine interpretation skills, and assume greater responsibilities on future assignments. Compensation includes weekly pay in the range of $2,145 to $2,178, plus a bonus and housing assistance; there are no guaranteed hours, so workload may vary with location and project needs.
