- Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive respiratory assessments, delivering and supervising therapies such as inhaled bronchodilators, nebulized treatments, chest physiotherapy, noninvasive ventilation, and airway clearance techniques; monitoring ventilated patients; titrating oxygen and ventilator settings; and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient plans.
- You’ll interpret arterial blood gases, document interventions, monitor device alarms, troubleshoot equipment, and provide patient and family education to promote understanding and adherence to therapy plans.
