Travel Radiation Therapy Job

Philadelphia, PA
Contracted
Hospital of University of Pennsylvania
Mid Level
Step into a transformative opportunity as a Radiation Therapy professional in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This travel assignment blends clinical precision with compassionate cancer care, delivering targeted therapy to patients while you explore one of the nation’s most vibrant cities. Start date is 03/30/2026 for a multi-week engagement with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $2,391 to $2,494. You’ll lead treatment sessions, collaborate with oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nurses, and broaden your expertise in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art oncology setting that values your skill and patient relationships. Pennsylvania’s beauty spans historic districts, riverfront parks, and scenic byways, offering enriching breaks between shifts. This assignment isn’t just about work—it’s a chance to grow professionally and personally while you make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Philadelphia’s medical community is robust, with access to leading cancer centers and multidisciplinary collaboration. You’ll benefit from a dynamic urban setting rich in culture, dining, and parks, yet still within reach of PA’s countryside and easy weekend getaways. For those who love variety, the role can include rotations to other U.S. locations, expanding your professional network and exposing you to different treatment philosophies while maintaining steadfast support. The city’s transit, affordable amenities, and welcoming neighborhoods help you establish a balanced travel lifestyle. And when you need a pause, you’re close to iconic landmarks, museums, and outdoor escapes that showcase the state’s natural and cultural beauty.

As a Radiation Therapy professional, you will perform patient simulations, set up and deliver external beam therapy per plan, ensure precise immobilization, verify patient identity, and monitor treatment parameters with the team. You’ll participate in image-guided radiotherapy, perform daily quality assurance on accelerators, and contribute to charting, side-effect management, and patient education. Collaboration with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nurses will optimize care and safety. The role supports growth: deepen expertise in IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, QA, and plan adaptation; pursue additional certifications; and explore leadership paths within partnered centers. Benefits include a welcome or completion bonus, housing assistance, and the possibility of extension if both sides agree. Our travel program provides comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance, dedicated recruiters, help with housing and travel logistics, and continuous clinical backing as you move between assignments. You’ll work in facilities equipped with advanced accelerators and planning systems, supported by a culture that prioritizes safety, learning, and patient-centered care.

Our company is anchored in empowering staff, fostering career advancement, and cultivating a collaborative, supportive environment. We invest in your continued education with access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities to broaden your scope within radiation therapy. Whether you’re seeking mastery of a modality or aspiring to leadership roles, you’ll find a team that respects your contributions and celebrates your growth.

Ready to join a company that values your impact and supports your development? Apply now to start your Philadelphia journey, with the chance to influence cancer care across the U.S. and build a rewarding trajectory in radiation therapy.
