Answer the call to compassionate care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, stationed in Peterborough, New Hampshire. This specialty invites you to bring dignity, comfort, and skill to residents who rely on steady hands and thoughtful attention. As you join a dedicated team for a scheduled assignment beginning 01/14/2026, you’ll experience a balanced rhythm of meaningful, patient-centered care and professional growth, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $1,737 to $1,895. In this role, you’ll help residents thrive, manage daily medical needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to craft care plans that honor independence and safety. You’ll also discover the beauty of New Hampshire, from historic small towns to outdoor wonders, and the flexibility to explore nearby communities if you choose to rotate within the region.

Peterborough sits at the heart of the Granite State’s scenic landscapes. You’ll work in a setting that emphasizes close-knit relationships, respectful elder care, and opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during time off. The role offers the possibility of assignments in other New Hampshire locales and across the U.S. for those who want variety, with a support network that makes transitions smooth. The state’s natural beauty—Mount Monadnock’s trails, nearby lakes and forested areas, and renowned fall foliage—adds a restorative backdrop to the demanding work, helping you sustain energy and compassion day after day. Structured onboarding, streamlined housing options, and transportation support make it easier to settle in and focus on clinical excellence from day one. Whether you’re drawn to the small-town pace or the ease of regional travel, you’ll find a welcoming environment that respects your expertise and nurtures your growth.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for residents in long-term care settings: administering medications and treatments under physician orders, monitoring vitals and dementia and memory care needs, assisting with activities of daily living, wound care, and catheter or ostomy care as appropriate; implementing care plans, documenting changes, and communicating with families and the broader care team; supporting fall prevention, infection control, and safety protocols; participating in rounds, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives; providing comfort, education, and reassurance to residents and their loved ones; guiding and mentoring nursing assistants to ensure consistent, compassionate care; recognizing early warning signs and escalating concerns promptly to the supervising RN. This role offers clear pathways for professional growth within geriatric care, including potential specialty certification, leadership opportunities on the unit, and cross-training possibilities in rehabilitation or memory care units. You’ll be encouraged to expand your clinical acumen, refine assessment skills, and contribute to care coordination that uplifts residents’ quality of life.

Benefits include a competitive compensation package with a weekly pay range of $1,737-$1,895, a structured bonus program, and housing assistance to help you get settled quickly. There are extension opportunities for renewals to continue serving residents and advancing within the facility’s long-term care program. You’ll have access to continual learning through on-site education, online modules, and support from a dedicated travel nurse team. A standout feature is 24/7 support while you are traveling with the company—our nurse liaison, housing coordinators, and on-call clinical managers are available around the clock to troubleshoot logistics, clinical questions, or any concerns that arise on the road. The assignment includes guaranteed hours of 40 per week, with a Start Date of 01/14/2026 and a duration measured in weeks, offering stability in a field that rewards reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to resident well-being.

Our company is built on empowering staff to advance in their careers while fostering a supportive, inclusive work environment. We celebrate clinical excellence, mentor growth, and recognize the critical role every licensed practical nurse plays in shaping the trajectory of elder care. By pairing robust onboarding, ongoing education, structured career ladders, and a culture of respect, we enable nurses to expand their scope, lead care coordination efforts, and partner with families to create comforting, dignified living experiences for residents.
