Big Sky, MT
Contracted
Big Sky Medical Center
Mid Level
Step into a transformative opportunity as a Physical Therapist with a premier travel healthcare program, delivering high-impact care across vibrant communities and breathtaking landscapes. This dedicated travel assignment places you in the heart of Big Sky, Montana, where the rugged beauty of the mountains meets the essential, healing work of rehabilitation. Beginning on 12/04/2025, you’ll join a purpose-driven team that prioritizes patient outcomes, professional mastery, and a supportive, collaborative culture. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you’ll combine clinical excellence with the adaptability and resilience that come from serving diverse populations in dynamic settings. This is your chance to elevate your practice, shape recovery journeys, and leave a lasting imprint on the lives you touch while enjoying the unmatched scenery of the American West.
Big Sky and the broader Montana landscape offer a remarkable backdrop for daily work. From powdery slopes and tranquil forest trails to pristine rivers and wide-open skies, the region invites outdoor exploration after your shifts. Montana’s communities celebrate outdoor recreation, seasonal festivals, and a pace that balances professional purpose with genuine, neighborly hospitality. Beyond Big Sky, our program provides opportunities to work across various locations across the United States, expanding your clinical perspective and connecting you with different care models, patient demographics, and interdisciplinary teams. The chance to experience new regions—while maintaining a stable, 40-hour weekly schedule and guaranteed hours—creates a uniquely rewarding career path that blends professional growth with personal enrichment.
In this role, you’ll apply evidence-based physical therapy to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of conditions affecting mobility, function, and quality of life. Typical responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions across outpatient, inpatient, or skilled settings. You’ll monitor progress with objective measures, document outcomes, and adjust plans to optimize recovery timelines. Collaboration is central: you’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, aides, and other therapists to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and advocate for adaptive strategies that support independence at home and in the community. The position supports professional growth through exposure to diverse caseloads, opportunities to pursue specialty certifications, and access to mentorship from experienced clinicians. Expect the chance to refine manual techniques, advance gait and balance training, and contribute to program development that elevates rehab services for your patients.
Our commitment to you goes beyond clinical duties. The role includes competitive compensation with weekly pay between $2,595 and $2,628, reflecting your expertise and the value you bring to the team. You can anticipate guaranteed hours of 40.0 per week, with contract duration defined in weeks and built-in opportunities for extension based on performance, fit, and organizational need. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible for a bonus and housing assistance designed to minimize relocation stress while you focus on patient care and clinical excellence. The program emphasizes comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance and resources for traveling clinicians, so you’re never navigating a shift alone. This level of coverage ensures you have timely access to scheduling, clinical guidance, credentialing support, and onboarding that keeps you focused on delivering exceptional therapy.
The organization values a culture of empowerment and growth. You’ll join a community that prioritizes career advancement, continuous learning, and a supportive work environment where seasoned therapists mentor newer team members and all voices contribute to patient-centered solutions. Expect structured pathways toward advanced competencies, opportunities to lead educational sessions or case conferences, and a collaborative atmosphere that respects work-life balance while encouraging professional ambition. The company recognizes the unique goals of rehabilitative specialists and is committed to providing the tools, feedback, and pathways you need to expand your practice footprint—whether you’re pursuing specialty certifications, pursuing research opportunities, or developing leadership capabilities within rehab services.
If you’re ready to apply, this is an exciting moment to join a company that values your expertise, resilience, and dedication to patient care.
