Step into the operating room as a Registered Nurse in the OR in Los Angeles, California, beginning on 02/16/2026 for a dynamic weeks-long assignment. This is your invitation to join a high-performance surgical team where your meticulous skill, steady leadership, and compassionate care will drive outstanding patient outcomes every day. In the glow of California sunshine, you’ll not only deliver expert perioperative care but also experience a career where growth and impact go hand in hand. Imagine serving diverse patient populations across complex cases—from routine procedures to advanced robotics-assisted surgeries—while enjoying access to state-of-the-art facilities, collaborative colleagues, and a culture that celebrates expertise, curiosity, and resilience. And beyond the hospital walls, California’s iconic beauty awaits: sun-kissed beaches, mountain trails, world-class dining, vibrant arts, and dynamic urban energy that complements the seriousness of your profession with the richness of life outside work.
Location benefits come alive in Los Angeles, a hub where you’ll encounter a wide range of surgical case types, renowned teaching hospitals, and a culture that values innovation and teamwork. The ORs here routinely handle high-acuity, complex procedures, offering you the chance to refine your skills, expand your certifications, and grow your leadership capabilities. If you prefer variety, there are opportunities to rotate to different facilities across the U.S., exposing you to different patient populations, protocols, and technologies while maintaining the same supportive professional network. Whether you’re drawn to a bustling academic center, a renowned trauma facility, or specialty surgical units, you’ll benefit from robust support systems, streamlined credentialing processes, and access to ongoing education that keeps pace with evolving perioperative practices. Living in or near Los Angeles also means you’ll enjoy a city with dynamic neighborhoods, accessible housing options, and the chance to explore cultural landmarks, outdoor recreation, and a broad culinary scene after a rewarding day in the OR.
As an OR RN, your responsibilities will center on ensuring patient safety, precision, and seamless surgical flow. You’ll participate in pre-op assessment and planning, assist with sterile technique, scrub alongside surgeons, circulate during procedures, and manage instrument counts and equipment readiness. You’ll help position patients with care, monitor anesthesia, support anesthesia transitions, and contribute to intraoperative decision-making when urgent situations arise. Post-operatively, you’ll support recovery in collaboration with the care team, document meticulously, and communicate clearly with patients and families. This role is designed for growth: you’ll have opportunities to pursue advanced perioperative certifications, expand into robotics-support, lead quality-improvement initiatives, or mentor new staff. The position emphasizes a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, your questions are welcomed, and your career trajectory is guided by supportive leaders who invest in your professional development. In addition to clinical duties, you’ll participate in debriefings, participate in protocol reviews, and contribute to the ongoing optimization of perioperative care pathways.
Professional benefits are a core part of this opportunity. The compensation includes a competitive weekly pay range of $2,449-$2,640, with the chance to earn a bonus and access comprehensive housing assistance. There are extension opportunities for those who excel and want to continue their journey with the team, enabling continuity for patients and stability for you. You’ll receive full travel and assignment support from a dedicated coordinator, including onboarding, credentialing, and continuous 24/7 assistance while you travel with the company. This is more than a job; it’s a platform for sustained growth, hands-on mentorship, and exposure to a broad spectrum of surgical disciplines that deepen your expertise and expand your professional network. The program is designed to minimize friction so you can focus on patient care while benefiting from reliable scheduling practices, clear communication, and a culture that champions your well-being and professional aspirations.
Our company embodies a commitment to empowering staff through clear pathways for career advancement and a supportive, inclusive work environment.
