Travel Endoscopy Tech Job
Location benefits: Rochester offers a strong healthcare ecosystem with advanced endoscopy labs, diverse case mixes, and collaborative teams that value continuous learning. You’ll have the chance to rotate within local facilities and, if you choose, explore multi-site assignments across the United States, enriching your professional portfolio with exposure to academic centers, community hospitals, and state-of-the-art suites. The city’s educational and cultural offerings enhance your quality of life outside the shift—museums, festivals, parklands, and a thriving restaurant scene complement a quality of life that helps you recharge after demanding days in the procedure suite. The surrounding region provides scenic drives, outdoor recreation, and access to award-winning wineries and outdoor adventures, all contributing to a well-rounded experience that supports sustained performance and personal growth.
Role specifics and benefits:
- Key responsibilities: You will assist gastroenterologists during endoscopic procedures, prepare and maintain all endoscopy equipment and room setup, ensure strict sterile technique, monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, document procedure details accurately, manage specimen handling and labeling, and participate in instrument management and inventory control. You’ll support patient education about pre-procedure prep and post-procedure care, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and tech teams to optimize throughput and outcomes.
- Professional growth: This assignment provides a robust pathway to deepen expertise in endoscopy, including exposure to ERCP, EUS, and advanced therapeutic techniques as applicable to your setting. Opportunities to cross-train with specialists, take on leadership responsibilities within the tech team, and participate in continuing education initiatives help accelerate your career trajectory. If you’re considering long-term advancement, the role serves as a gateway to broader endoscopy service line involvement and mentorship roles for newer team members.
- Benefits and support: You’ll receive competitive compensation with weekly pay in the range of $1,123–$1,133, plus opportunities for a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease transition. Extension opportunities allow you to continue contributing your skills beyond the initial assignment, and performance-based incentives can recognize your continued excellence. You’ll enjoy comprehensive support from a dedicated travel and support team, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, on-call coordination, and streamlined logistics to reduce non-clinical burdens so you can focus on patient care.
- Environment and resources: You will be joining facilities that emphasize best practices in safety, patient-centered care, and teamwork. Access to modern equipment, updated protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration ensures you have the tools and environment needed to excel in demanding clinical settings. A structured onboarding and orientation process helps you acclimate quickly, while ongoing access to resources ensures you can continue to refine your skills throughout the contract.
Company values: Our organization is built on empowering staff to grow—professionally and personally. We’re committed to cultivating a supportive work environment that prioritizes patient outcomes, mentorship, and ongoing education. When you join our team, you’ll be part of a culture that values your expertise, recognizes your contributions, and actively supports your career advancement through collaborative leadership, transparent communication, and meaningful opportunities to expand your scope of practice.
