In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive newborn nursing care, including newborn assessments, feeding support, jaundice monitoring, temperature and vital sign surveillance, and parent education on safe sleep, bonding techniques, and infant cues. You’ll collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring smooth transitions from the hospital to home. Your responsibilities extend to post-delivery rounds, documentation, medication administration within scope, and rapid response to clinical changes, all while upholding infection control and safety standards. The position also offers ongoing professional development within the newborn specialty, with access to mentorship, evidence-based practice updates, and opportunities to lead family-centered rounds and nurses’ rounds.
