Lewiston, ME

Marshwood Ctr
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care, where your clinical skill and compassionate presence directly elevate the daily lives and dignity of residents who depend on steady, attentive care. This multi-week travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine begins on 11/16/2025 and offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week with a competitive weekly pay range of $1,670 to $1,734. Beyond the clinical impact, you’ll experience a state renowned for its natural beauty, from the Androscoggin River’s gentle currents to vibrant autumn foliage and coastal escapes within reachable distance. Maine’s landscapes invite easy weekend explorations between shifts, enriching your professional journey with time to recharge in a setting that feels welcoming and unhurried. This is your chance to contribute meaningfully while enjoying the unique character of New England life.

Location benefits go beyond a single facility. Lewiston’s healthcare community provides a supportive, collaborative environment with modern amenities and accessible services that strengthen your practice and patient outcomes. As part of our broader network, you’ll also have the opportunity to work in varied locations across the United States, experiencing diverse care settings—from urban centers to quieter communities—each offering distinct clinical challenges and growth opportunities. Union with a company that places value on well-being and work-life balance means you gain stable scheduling, comprehensive onboarding, and resources designed to ease transitions, including housing support and relocation assistance, so you can focus on delivering exceptional care from day one.

In this Long-Term Care LPN role, your responsibilities center on compassionate, compliant geriatric care. You will administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, monitor patient status, and perform routine assessments and vital signs to detect changes early. You’ll assist with activities of daily living, provide wound care, and participate in infection control practices that protect both residents and staff. Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with RNs, physicians, and family members to update care plans, document accurately, and communicate evolving needs. You’ll contribute to care transitions, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement projects, ensuring that every resident receives consistent, respectful attention. This assignment supports your professional growth within the long-term care specialty, with opportunities to deepen geriatric assessment skills, care coordination, and leadership capabilities such as precepting newer nurses and guiding evolving care plans. The position is designed for a dynamic clinician who thrives in team-based environments and values continuity of care for residents who rely on your steady presence.

Benefits accompany the calling. Our program emphasizes competitive compensation with weekly pay, a potential sign-on incentive, and housing assistance to ease relocation and living arrangements in Lewiston or nearby communities. You’ll have the opportunity to extend the assignment, aligning with your career trajectory and personal goals, while enjoying potential extensions that reflect your performance and fit with the facility’s needs. A cornerstone of our offering is comprehensive 24/7 support while traveling with the company, ensuring dependable assistance for clinical questions, scheduling, or any travel logistics—so you can navigate new environments with confidence and security. This commitment to robust support is designed to reduce stress and empower you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care every shift.

The company values are grounded in empowering staff, fostering career advancement, and nurturing a supportive, inclusive work environment. You’ll be part of a culture that honors clinical expertise, respects diverse perspectives, and actively supports ongoing education and skill-building. We believe in recognizing dedication and providing clear pathways to broaden your scope, whether through additional certifications, expanded roles within long-term care, or leadership opportunities that acknowledge your contributions. The environment is designed to be collaborative, respectful, and career-forward, encouraging you to develop as a clinician while making a meaningful impact on residents and families.

If you’re ready to elevate your practice, impact residents’ lives, and explore new places within a supportive, growth-minded framework, this is an exceptional opportunity. Apply now to join a team that values your expertise and your professional development, and to begin a journey that blends clinical excellence with the adventure of travel nursing in Long-Term Care. Start date is 11/16/2025, with multi-week assignments and guaranteed 40 hours per week. Please note: the hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary.
