Role specifics:
- Perform radiographic studies with precision, including portable and room-based imaging, while adhering to radiation safety standards and optimal patient positioning.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment, capture high-quality images, perform immediate quality checks, and document findings for radiologists.
- Communicate compassionately with patients of all ages, screen for contraindications, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize workflow during busy shifts.
- Maintain infection control, supply readiness, and equipment maintenance; contribute to continuous improvement and pursue cross-training in digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile imaging as available.
- Document procedures accurately, protect privacy, participate in performance reviews, and engage in ongoing education to broaden competency and confidence in imaging and patient care.
