And for those drawn to exploration, there’s the added possibility of experiencing the broader U.S. landscape through assignments that broaden your clinical perspective and professional network.
Colorado’s majestic landscape is just one facet of the appeal. Aspen offers year-round access to skiing at legendary slopes, hiking above pristine alpine lakes, and a cultural scene that blends Western heritage with contemporary cuisine and festivals. The state’s diverse geography—from alpine villages to expansive plains—provides not only inspiration but also a welcoming community that supports work-life balance, continuing education, and opportunities to recharge after shifts. While you will be stationed in Aspen, the role also opens doors to potential placements across the United States, delivering variety in clinical exposure, hospital settings, and interventional suites. This flexibility lets you cultivate a richer portfolio of procedural competencies while enjoying the distinctive experiences each location has to offer.
In this role, you’ll be integral to the imaging and execution of a broad array of special procedures. Core responsibilities include assisting physicians during interventional radiology interventions, setting up and maintaining sterile fields, performing accurate image acquisitions, and optimizing catheter guidance with real-time fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities. You’ll manage contrast administration, monitor patient safety, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure high-quality studies every time. Your professional growth will be accelerated by exposure to diverse procedural techniques, cross-discipline collaboration with anesthesia, nursing, and radiology colleagues, and mentorship in advanced vascular interventions. The position emphasizes procedural accuracy, radiation safety, and patient comfort, with ongoing opportunities to expand your skills, pursue certifications, and assume greater responsibility as you demonstrate proficiency under pressure.
The package emphasizes competitive benefits designed to reward your expertise. You’ll earn weekly pay ranging from $2,325 to $2,417, reflecting the specialized skill set you bring to high-demand procedures. In addition, you’ll have access to a bonus structure, housing assistance to ease relocation and temporary housing needs, and extension opportunities that allow you to continue evolving within a trusted travel program. The assignment includes comprehensive support from a dedicated team available 24/7 to assist you as you travel and work across sites. You’ll find a robust network of resources—from credentialing support to on-call assistance and clinical liaisons—ensuring you’re never navigating complex shifts alone. The program is designed to be flexible, with hours that align to patient care demands and the realities of travel assignments, and while guaranteed hours are not established, you’ll have the chance to maximize your calendar through extensions and repeat placements if you and the facility align well.
