- Lead and participate in the care of critically ill patients requiring complex monitoring, ventilatory support, vasoactive medications, and hemodynamic management. You’ll interpret arterial blood gases, telemetry data, and bedside assessments to guide timely interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and bedside intensivists to develop and execute comprehensive care plans that optimize outcomes and minimize length of stay.
- Respond swiftly to code events, implement evidence-based protocols, and advocate for patients and families during highly stressful moments with clarity, empathy, and composure.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-acute pathways, ensuring informed consent and alignment with goals of care.
