Mid Level
Step into the ICU as a Registered Nurse in Sun City, Arizona, and elevate your career where every shift brings critical care excellence, purposeful leadership, and a profound opportunity to impact lives. This dedicated ICU contract positions you at the heart of high-stakes patient management, where your clinical judgment, swift action, and compassionate communication guide severely ill patients toward stability and recovery. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team that values your expertise, supports your growth, and honors the demanding pace of the critical care environment. Beginning on 01/05/2026 for a flexible assignment spanning multiple weeks with guaranteed hours, this role also features a competitive weekly pay range and a clear path to continued collaboration through extensions. This is more than a placement—it’s a platform to advance your specialty practice while making a tangible difference in patients’ lives.
Arizona presents a compelling backdrop for your next professional chapter. Sun City offers a welcoming, active lifestyle with resort-style amenities, easy access to outdoor recreation, and a tight-knit community that supports healthcare professionals. The beauty of the state—expansive desert landscapes, iconic sunsets, and the nearby wonders of Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and national parks—provides a refreshing counterbalance to the intensity of ICU work. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience other locations across the United States, broadening your clinical exposure, working with diverse patient populations, and embracing best practices across varied healthcare settings. This exposure not only enriches your resume but deepens your clinical confidence as you adapt to different protocols, teams, and care environments.
In the role’s core responsibilities, you will deliver advanced, patient-centered care to critically ill adults and, when appropriate, support families navigating complex medical decisions. You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, interpret monitoring data, optimize hemodynamic status, manage ventilator support in collaboration with respiratory therapy, administer vasoactive medications, and lead the planning and execution of evidence-based care plans. You’ll coordinate with physicians, charge nurses, and case managers to ensure timely interventions, smooth transitions of care, and accurate documentation within the electronic health record. Your bedside leadership will help mentor newer staff, promote adherence to infection control protocols, and uphold standards for patient safety, comfort, and dignity in every shift. The role invites ongoing professional growth within the ICU specialty, with access to specialty certifications, unit-based training, and opportunities to assume increasing responsibilities as you demonstrate clinical proficiency and collaborative leadership.
The opportunity comes with competitive benefits designed to recognize your expertise and enhance your overall experience. In addition to a predictable weekly pay range of $2,048-$2,148, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease relocation and lodging expenses while on assignment. We support extension opportunities that allow you to continue applying your ICU skills in varied settings, deepen your clinical knowledge, and build lasting professional relationships. You will benefit from comprehensive travel and clinical support, including 24/7 assistance from dedicated travel coordinators and nurse managers who understand the unique demands of working across facilities. This unwavering support framework ensures you can focus on delivering high-quality care while knowing help is available whenever you need it, day or night, on site or remotely.

We are committed to fostering career advancement through structured progression paths, ongoing education, and leadership development that recognizes your contributions.
