Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Working in Belen offers a unique balance of community feel and access to opportunities across New Mexico and beyond. Belen itself provides a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere with services and amenities that cater to everyday life, including parks, local eateries, and easy access to larger urban centers. The location supports a high quality of life, a reasonable cost of living, and a pace that allows you to focus on compassionate care. For professionals who enjoy variety, there’s also the potential to extend your impact by picking up assignments in other locations across the United States, expanding your experience in different facilities, patient populations, and care models. Whether you stay in the region or explore additional settings, you’ll benefit from a robust support network, flexible scheduling options, and housing assistance designed to help you settle into each new assignment quickly and comfortably. And with the inviting climate and outdoor opportunities nearby—hiking, fishing, and exploring the Bosque del Apache and surrounding mesas—you can recharge outside of shifts and bring renewed energy to your residents.
In this Long-Term Care LPN role, you’ll oversee essential nursing duties while nurturing residents’ overall well-being. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering prescribed medications within scope of practice, assisting with activities of daily living, wound care, and preventive care, along with timely documentation, accurate charting, and communication with interdisciplinary teams. You’ll develop and implement care plans, observe and report changes in patient status, and participate in family conferences to align on goals and expectations. The position offers room for professional growth through enhanced clinical competencies, mentorship from seasoned staff, and opportunities to assume leadership tasks as you demonstrate reliability and expertise. As part of the compensation package, you’ll have access to a competitive weekly pay range of $932-$965, a sign-on or performance bonus, and a suite of benefits designed to support you on the road. Housing assistance is available to help with lodging costs, and there are extension opportunities that let you continue your work with our traveling team if you choose to broaden your horizons. You’ll also receive comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from our team while you travel, ensuring you’re never alone when you need help or guidance in unfamiliar settings. It’s a flexible arrangement—guaranteed hours are not provided, and weekly hours will align with the needs of each facility and your availability, giving you control over your schedule within the contract framework.
Our company is built on a foundation of empowerment and respect for the professionals who keep communities safe, healthy, and thriving. We are dedicated to your career advancement, offering ongoing training, skill-building opportunities, and a supportive work environment where your contributions are recognized and your voice matters.
