In this Oncology RN role, you’ll own critical responsibilities that drive patient outcomes and professional growth. You will administer complex chemotherapy regimens, manage infusion therapies, and vigilantly monitor for adverse reactions. You’ll assess lab work, electrolyte balance, and organ function, adjusting care plans in collaboration with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll implement evidence-based protocols for infection prevention, mucositis management, pain control, and symptom relief, while providing comprehensive patient education on treatment goals, anticipated side effects, and safe at-home care. Documentation in electronic health records will be precise and timely, ensuring continuity of care across shifts and facilities.
