Role Specifics and Benefits:
As a LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll be responsible for assessing residents’ conditions, administering medications, performing routine treatments, and monitoring wound care, nutrition, hydration, and safety needs. You’ll participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team, document accurately in electronic medical records, and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements. Your role will also include skilled maneuvers such as catheter care, ostomy management, and rehabilitation support in partnership with PT/OT teams. You’ll contribute to fall prevention programs, pain management, and palliative care discussions as appropriate, always prioritizing dignity and independence.
