- Core responsibilities: perform vigilant monitoring in the PACU, assess airway and breathing, manage pain and nausea, stabilize vital signs, prevent complications, implement recovery protocols, coordinate handoffs to floors, and educate patients and families about post-anesthesia care and early mobility.
