Step into urgent care leadership as a Travel ER Registered Nurse, delivering high‑impact care in Clearlake, California, with the potential to extend your expertise to locations across the United States. This is your chance to blend clinical excellence with the adventure of working in diverse emergency departments, where every shift challenges you to think fast, act decisively, and mentor teammates under pressure. As an ER RN, you will be at the frontline of trauma stabilization, acute illness management, and patient advocacy, guiding patients and families through moments that matter most. Picture yourself thriving in a fast paced environment that celebrates precision, compassion, and professional growth, while enjoying the beauty and culture of California and the flexibility to explore new communities through temporary placements. California’s landscapes—from shimmering lake shores to towering redwoods—offer restorative breaks after demanding shifts, fueling your resilience and commitment to exceptional care.

Working in Clearlake places you in a welcoming community with a hospital system that values teamwork, rapid decision making, and evidence based practice. Clearlake and the broader Lake County area offer outdoor recreation, affordable living, and proximity to both mountain and coastal destinations, making weekends filled with hiking, boating, wineries, and scenic drives. For those who crave broader experience, this program supports assignments in multiple U.S. locations, enabling you to broaden clinical competencies, encounter diverse patient populations, and build a national network of mentors and colleagues. You’ll receive relocation and housing assistance, helping you settle quickly and focus on patient care. With access to 24/7 support from our travel program, you’re never navigating a new unit alone, whether you’re adjusting to a new team, new protocols, or new shift rhythms.

In your ER role, you’ll triage and assess acuity, initiate treatment, perform sterile procedures, administer medications, monitor hemodynamics, support resuscitation efforts, and communicate clearly with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers. You’ll own patient flow, optimize bed utilization, and advocate for safe, compassionate care from arrival through discharge. The position emphasizes growth within Emergency Medicine, offering structured onboarding, access to specialty continuing education, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership as you gain experience. The package features competitive weekly pay in the range of 1,934 to 2,124, with potential bonuses for performance and length of assignment, plus housing assistance and extension opportunities to maximize stability and continuity of care. It’s important to note that guaranteed hours are not provided; schedules will reflect patient volume and facility needs, offering you flexibility while inviting you to demonstrate reliability and adaptability across assignments. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive support framework that includes 24/7 travel assistance, credentialing support, and dedicated clinical coordinators who respond instantly to scheduling changes, shifts, or patient surges. Expect robust onboarding on local protocols, safety standards, and advanced life support requirements, plus the chance to collaborate with high performing teams dedicated to quality outcomes. The assignments are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for variable durations and the option to extend when you and the facility see a good fit, so your career trajectory remains dynamic rather than static. Our clinicians also gain access to wellness resources, peer networks, and debrief opportunities to maintain resilience in demanding environments.

Our company is built on empowering healthcare professionals, investing in your development, and fostering a supportive culture where you can advance while maintaining balance. We believe in recognizing expertise, encouraging autonomy tempered by teamwork, and providing clear paths to more complex roles in emergency medicine. You’ll join a community that celebrates curiosity, continuous learning, and mutual respect, with mentors ready to help you navigate new departments, certifications, and leadership tracks. We are committed to your success, offering proactive career guidance, credentials support, and a network of colleagues who share best practices and celebrate victories great and small.
