Nestled near the majesty of the Shasta Cascade region, this rural jewel offers easy access to pristine rivers, towering pines, and outdoor adventures that replenish both body and spirit. Fall River Mills provides a tight-knit community atmosphere, where your expertise is seen and valued, and where work-life balance is more than a buzzword—it’s an everyday reality. In this role you’ll partner with physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapy colleagues to deliver expert care across a broad spectrum of respiratory needs. Core duties include assessment and monitoring of patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, suctioning, bronchoscopic support where appropriate, and optimization of oxygen delivery and humidity. You’ll perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation with a focus on timely, evidence-based decision-making; calibrate and troubleshoot devices, including vents, CPAP/BiPAP, and humidified systems; and implement weaning protocols to facilitate safe liberation from ventilatory support when clinically appropriate. Beyond bedside care, you’ll engage in patient and family education, contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. The position emphasizes ongoing professional development—participation in continuing education, exposure to advanced pulmonary therapies, and opportunities to expand into leadership or specialty tracks, ensuring you keep advancing wherever your interests lead. The role also includes a compelling benefits package: a sign-on incentive, housing assistance to ease relocation, and potential extension opportunities to provide continuity for you and the teams you support. Expect comprehensive, 24/7 support from our travel program and operations teams, ensuring you’re never alone on the road and always backed by a responsive, knowledgeable network of professionals.
