Role specifics and benefits: As an ER RN in this assignment, you’ll triage and rapidly assess patients, initiate stabilization for chest pain, stroke, trauma, respiratory distress, and other life-threatening emergencies, and partner with physicians and ancillary teams to implement timely interventions. You’ll manage monitoring, IV access, medication administration, analgesia, wound care, and infection prevention, while providing clear communication to patients and families and coordinating with case management for discharge planning. Your responsibilities will also include accurate charting, identifying safety risks, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the ED.
