Embark on a transformative journey as a Speech Language Pathologist in California, Willows, where your expertise can elevate communication, nourishment, and confidence for patients across ages and settings. This travel assignment invites you to bring evidence-based practice to schools, clinics, and community programs, empowering individuals to express themselves, swallow safely, and participate more fully in daily life. Imagine the satisfaction of guiding someone toward clearer speech or a stronger voice, while also savoring the diverse landscapes of California—from Willows’ tranquil streets to nearby river trails, golden light on almond groves, and the sprawling vistas that make the Golden State a constant source of inspiration. If you crave professional impact, growth, and the thrill of exploring new communities, this opportunity is crafted for you.

Willows offers a welcoming base with a tight-knit healthcare network, educational partners, and access to a range of clinical settings that support your continued development. Beyond the local environment, the role provides the chance to work across multiple locations in the United States, broadening your clinical exposure, enriching your caseload, and fostering collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You’ll gain insight into diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, expand your repertoire with varied diagnoses, and build the adaptability that distinguishes exceptional SLPs. This mix of stability in a supportive home base and exploration through itinerant assignments creates a uniquely balanced platform for your career.

In this role, you’ll assess and treat comprehensive communication disorders, including articulation, language delay, social communication, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You’ll develop and implement individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes. Collaboration will be a cornerstone: partnering with teachers, physicians, occupational therapists, audiologists, and families to align therapy with educational goals, medical needs, and daily living activities. You’ll document thoroughly, ensure compliance with licensing and payer requirements, and contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives. Your professional growth will be supported through exposure to pediatric and adult populations, evidence-based interventions, and opportunities to expand clinical skills such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques, throat and voice therapy, and telepractice options when appropriate. The assignment runs for a defined duration of weeks with a start date of 01/26/2026 and a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week, ensuring you can plan with confidence while delivering consistent care. Compensation reflects a competitive weekly range of $2,400-$2,465, with additional incentives that may include a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to simplify relocation. The arrangement also supports extension opportunities that let you continue your impact in new communities as you and the program evolve together.

The package includes robust support designed for traveling clinicians. You’ll benefit from comprehensive onboarding and credentialing assistance, ongoing supervision or mentorship where desired, and access to a dedicated travel concierge to handle housing, licensing, and logistical needs. A standout feature is 24/7 support while you travel with the company, so you have a dependable resource for clinical questions, schedule coordination, or emergencies at any hour. This level of guidance is designed to minimize disruption, maximize safety, and keep you focused on delivering high-quality care. While you explore different regions, you’ll know you have a consistent safety net and a responsive partner at your side.

Our company values your expertise and your growth. We’re dedicated to empowering staff through clear career pathways, ongoing professional development, and a culture that respects work-life balance. You’ll join a community that celebrates collaboration, continuous learning, and mutual support—where your contributions as an SLP are recognized, your ideas matter, and leadership is committed to helping you advance. Whether you’re pursuing specialty certifications, expanding your clinical scope, or mentoring peers, you’ll find opportunities to grow while you make meaningful connections with patients and families across varied settings.
