In this Long-Term Care nursing role, you’ll perform a broad range of duties essential to comprehensive geriatric care. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, assisting with wound care and skin integrity, and conducting ongoing resident assessments to identify changes or emerging needs. You’ll support rehabilitation activities and activities of daily living to promote independence and quality of life, uphold safety and infection control standards, and participate in care conferences to advocate for residents’ preferences and comfort. The position also offers opportunities for leadership and professional growth, including pursuing LTC certifications, stepping into mentorship roles for new staff, or taking on charge‑nurse responsibilities as you demonstrate leadership and clinical proficiency. A competitive benefits package is complemented by a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance, and the potential to extend your contract based on performance and fit. You’ll benefit from 24/7 support from a dedicated travel team, ensuring you have a reliable partner as you navigate assignments and transitions across facilities.
