Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job

Newcastle, WY
Contracted
Weston County Manor
Mid Level
Opportunities abound for Registered Nurses specializing in long-term care (LTC) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while advancing your clinical expertise. As a trusted LTC RN, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating comprehensive care plans, monitoring complex health needs, and delivering compassionate support in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. This assignment places you in Newcastle, Wyoming, a gateway to outdoor adventure and small-town warmth, where your clinical judgment and bedside manner will shine as you help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence. You’ll have the chance to mentor care team members, collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, and learn the unique rhythms of LTC across a spectrum of aging and chronic conditions. Beginning 03/31/2026, this multi-week opportunity invites you to bring your skill, curiosity, and empathy to a community that values both professional excellence and the human connection at the heart of care.

Wyoming’s open skies, scenic landscapes, and welcoming communities create an inspiring backdrop for your work. In Newcastle, you’ll experience a tight-knit town atmosphere, access to nearby outdoor recreation, and a pace that supports thoughtful, individualized care. Beyond Newcastle, this role also offers the possibility of assignments across the United States, letting you explore diverse LTC settings—from quiet rural facilities to bustling urban campuses. Travel assignments are designed to broaden your clinical repertoire while maintaining work-life balance, and the flexibility to select assignments that align with your professional interests and personal goals. The Wyoming location also offers local housing options and support to help you settle in quickly, so you can focus on delivering high-quality resident care from day one.

Your responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication administration, timely documentation, and coordination of restorative and end-of-life care as appropriate. You’ll monitor vital signs, manage chronic disease processes, perform wound and IV therapy as authorized by facility policy, and respond to emergencies with clinical calm. You’ll partner with families and the interprofessional team to ensure evidence-based practice, safe transitions, and meaningful daily activities that promote residents’ quality of life. The position provides a clear path for professional growth within LTC, including opportunities to advance clinically through specialty certifications, leadership roles, and mentorship of new staff. We offer a competitive weekly pay of $1,917–$1,952, with guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week, and the possibility of contract extensions based on performance and facility needs. In addition, you’ll receive housing assistance to ease relocation, and the potential for a sign-on bonus where available, along with extension options that allow you to stay longer if you wish. Throughout your travel, you’ll have access to 24/7 support from our traveling healthcare team, ensuring you never navigate a challenging situation alone and that help is always a call away.

Our company is committed to empowering your career while safeguarding your well-being. We invest in your growth with ongoing training, support for specialty development, and a collaborative culture that values initiative, resilience, and compassion. Our programs are designed to help you build a sustainable LTC career—whether you’re strengthening clinical skills, mentoring peers, or stepping into leadership—and to provide a work environment where your contributions are recognized, respected, and rewarded.

Ready to combine impact, adventure, and professional advancement? Apply today to join a company that prioritizes your expertise, supports your journey, and welcomes your voice in shaping outstanding long-term care. This is more than an assignment; it’s an opportunity to grow as a nurse, expand your horizons, and make a lasting difference in the lives of residents and families along the way.
