Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery in the scenic Berkshires of Massachusetts, with a placement in Great Barrington beginning January 26, 2026. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape the care journey of families at one of life’s most meaningful moments. In this L&D setting, your expertise will support mothers from early labor through delivery and into the immediate postpartum period, guiding families with confidence, skill, and compassionate presence as they welcome new life into the world. If you value clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous growth within a specialty that blends high-stakes skill with heartfelt care, this assignment offers a platform for you to make a lasting impact. And while you’ll enjoy the charm and beauty of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience locations across the United States, broadening your professional horizon while you deepen your expertise.

Great Barrington sits in the heart of the Berkshire Hills, a place of natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and vibrant community life. Seasonal foliage, nearby trails, farmer’s markets, and cultural offerings create a welcoming backdrop for a demanding, rewarding nursing role. When you’re ready for a change of scenery, this program connects you to partner facilities nationwide, giving you the chance to rotate through diverse hospital settings—urban centers with high patient volumes and rural facilities where personalized care and close-knit teams thrive. Across the U.S., you’ll find a spectrum of obstetric services, and you’ll bring your L&D experience to each setting, while enjoying the continuity and support you deserve.

As an L&D RN, you’ll carry key responsibilities that anchor safe, family-centered care. You’ll monitor labor progress, conduct comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, and implement evidence-based interventions in labor, delivery, and postpartum care. You’ll support and participate in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, assist with newborn stabilization, and provide lactation support and breastfeeding education to families. Documentation in electronic health records, medication administration within policy and protocol, and active collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and ancillary teams will be part of your daily routine. You’ll be prepared to respond to emergencies with poise, communicate clearly with patients and families, and advocate for patient-centered plans that respect cultural preferences and clinical guidelines. For professional growth, you’ll have opportunities to pursue certifications in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, lactation consulting, and leadership pathways that prepare you to mentor others and lead quality-improvement initiatives within the unit. The position also invites you to participate in precepting new nurses and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

The package reflects our commitment to attracting top talent and supporting you on every front. You’ll earn a competitive weekly compensation of $2,510–$2,621, with a contract that spans multiple weeks and room for extension based on the hospital’s needs and your performance. A sign-on and/or completion bonus are part of the benefits, underscoring the value we place on your expertise. Housing assistance is provided to ease relocation and living arrangements, and extension opportunities allow you to continue growing within the same network as your skills expand. 24/7 support is available while you travel with the company, ensuring you’re never alone on this journey—our dedicated support team handles travel logistics, housing arrangements, and on-site coordination so you can focus on clinical care and patient relationships. It’s a comprehensive framework designed to remove barriers and maximize your impact in every assignment.
