As an OR nurse on travel assignment, you’ll hold a central role in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities span preoperative assessments, sterile technique and instrument handling, facilitating safe and efficient intraoperative workflows, and coordinating with anesthesia teams and surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You’ll monitor patient status, manage intraoperative inventories, document critical events, and contribute to post-anesthesia care, all while maintaining an uncompromising standard of safety and quality.
