Role Specifics and Benefits: In this L&D RN role, you’ll monitor labor progress, conduct fetal surveillance, perform obstetric assessments, and respond swiftly to deviations in maternal or fetal status. You’ll support the laboring patient through admission, labor progression, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, including newborn stabilization and family education. You’ll collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and neonatology teams to ensure safe, evidence-based outcomes, document thoroughly, manage analgesia and anesthesia support as permitted, and coach families through the birth process.
