Role specifics and benefits:
- Primary responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive language, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments; develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans; implement therapy across pediatric and adult populations as appropriate; monitor progress with rigorous data collection; adjust interventions to maximize outcomes; collaborate with audiologists, occupational therapists, teachers, physicians, and families to ensure holistic care; provide caregiver coaching and home-program instruction to reinforce gains; document thoroughly in accordance with regulatory and program standards; advocate for patient access to augmentative and alternative communication methods when needed; participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
