Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Batesville, AR
Contracted
White River Medical Center
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role as a Travel Registered Nurse, OR in Batesville, Arkansas, where precision, teamwork, and compassionate care converge to shape outcomes that matter. In this specialty, you’ll partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure every procedure proceeds with safety and confidence. Your expertise will guide staining, sterile technique, instrument counts, and patient positioning from preoperative assessment through the immediate postoperative phase, helping patients rebound with dignity and clarity. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to impact lives, uplift a tight-knit perioperative team, and elevate your professional repertoire in a setting that values accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning. If you’ve ever imagined combining clinical mastery with the chance to influence care in meaningful ways, Batesville welcomes your leadership and skill.

Arkansas holds a quiet beauty that you’ll come to know beyond the operating room. Explore the natural charm of the Ozarks, scenic rivers, and state parks that invite hiking, kayaking, and peaceful getaways after shifts. Batesville itself offers a welcoming, small-town atmosphere with authentic Southern hospitality, local cuisine, and a vibrant community culture. From exploring nearby lakes to enjoying farm-to-table dining and regional events, you’ll find a balanced lifestyle that supports well-being and sustained focus at work. And for those who crave broader horizons, travel opportunities can extend your experiences to other facilities across Arkansas and across the United States, enriching your clinical perspective with a spectrum of perioperative environments.

In this role, you’ll take the wheel of essential responsibilities that keep the OR running smoothly. You’ll participate in room turnover, ensure proper sterile technique, manage instrument counts, assist with positioning and draping, and support anesthesia and surgical teams through complex procedures. You’ll monitor patient status, coordinate with circulators and scrub nurses, and help align postoperative care with discharge planning and pain management. Your contributions will drive efficiency, safety, and patient comfort from the moment a patient enters the perioperative arena to the moment they wake in recovery. There’s ample room for professional growth within the OR specialty: you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of procedures, refine your critical thinking and rapid decision-making, pursue certifications such as CNOR, and collaborate with experienced mentors who champion your advancement. The role comes with competitive benefits designed to recognize experience, dedication, and skill.

We also know that great care is built on strong support. This opportunity offers a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to help you settle in quickly and comfortably. You’ll enjoy guaranteed hours with a weekly pay range of $1,986 to $2,052, reflecting your expertise and dedication, with a typical schedule that aligns with 36 hours per week. The assignment is described in terms of weeks, allowing flexibility to tailor your time to personal and professional goals while contributing consistently to a high-performing perioperative team. In addition, you’ll have access to extension opportunities—continuing contracts that reward loyalty and proven performance—so you can build continuity in your practice and deepen your relationships with colleagues and patients. A robust support network is in place for traveling clinicians, including 24/7 assistance from experienced coordinators who understand the realities of working away from home. You’ll never face a challenge alone; the company is committed to providing dependable, around-the-clock help as you navigate new facilities, guidelines, and patient populations.

Our values center on empowering staff to pursue ambitious career paths while maintaining a compassionate, collaborative work environment. You’ll join a culture that prioritizes patient outcomes, professional development, and a healthy work-life balance. You’ll be encouraged to share your expertise, contribute to best practices, and grow within a network that celebrates your achievements and supports your aspirations. We believe that when skilled nurses feel valued and equipped, they elevate every aspect of care, and that belief informs every policy, training, and resource available to you.
