From administering medications and conducting assessments to guiding families through transitions, you will be a steady, reassuring presence in residents’ daily lives. You’ll become part of a mission-driven team that believes every resident deserves respect, safety, and individualized care, while you also grow your own clinical skills and leadership capabilities. And beyond the facility walls, you’ll discover the beauty of New Mexico—the light-drenched mesas, fragrant piñon forests, canyon creeks, and sunsets that linger long after sundown. In Silver City you’ll find a welcoming community, cultural richness, and outdoor playgrounds that invite your curiosity and sustain your energy between shifts.

Role specifics and benefits: In this role you will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care settings, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, perform timely assessments and documentation, monitor vital signs, recognize clinical changes, and escalate as needed to prevent complications. You’ll support daily living activities, reinforce safety protocols, assist with wound care and basic IV therapy where allowed, coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members to implement individualized care plans, and ensure seamless admissions and discharges. The position offers exceptional growth opportunities through ongoing education, skill expansion, and leadership pathways within the travel program or the host facility. Competitive benefits include a welcome bonus, housing assistance, and opportunities for contract extensions. You’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated travel team with 24/7 availability to assist you on the road, onboarding and orientation resources, licensure assistance across states, and a culture that values your feedback and professional development.
