Key responsibilities include comprehensive neuro assessment, monitoring for stroke indicators, seizure precautions, rapid response to neurological changes, medication administration per orders, and coordination of rehabilitation and discharge planning. You’ll document meticulously, participate in care rounds, and educate patients and families to support recovery and safety. The role offers clear pathways for growth within neuro practice—advancing assessment skills, contributing to quality improvement, and taking on mentoring or leadership tasks as you build facility familiarity.
