Step into the operating room as a Surgical Tech in Georgia, Atlanta, and become an essential pillar of patient care. In this role, you'll help ensure sterile technique, anticipate instrument needs, and support surgeons, nurses, and scrub staff through every critical step of the procedure. Your precision and teamwork will help reduce risk, improve turnover times, and contribute to outcomes that families remember long after the doors close. This opportunity invites you to advance your skills across a diverse range of surgical specialties, while enjoying the beauty and energy of Atlanta and the greater state of Georgia, from vibrant urban districts to tranquil escapes in the countryside and along the coast. Georgia is more than a place to work—it's a place to live fully. In Atlanta you’ll experience a thriving arts scene, renowned restaurants, professional sports, and easy access to nature from Stone Mountain Park to the Appalachian foothills, as well as coastal retreats within a few hours’ drive. The state’s temperate winters, lush landscapes, and Southern charm create a backdrop that complements your demanding professional life, offering weekend adventures that recharge you for the next case.
As part of a growing healthcare landscape, Atlanta offers a thriving environment for perioperative professionals. You’ll have access to top-tier facilities, ongoing education, and a network of seasoned colleagues. - Core responsibilities: maintain sterile fields, handle and pass instruments with precision, maintain instrument counts, prep and drape patients, manage equipment and supplies, assist with case cart organization, document perioperative details, and participate in immediate post-op turnover. You’ll monitor environmental controls, ensure needle and sharps safety, and communicate clearly with the surgical team to anticipate needs and deviations.
- Professional growth: this position is designed to expand your surgical tech repertoire across multiple specialties, from general and orthopedic to cardiovascular and endoscopy. Access mentorship, ongoing skills checklists, and opportunities for credentialing in perioperative practices. Cross-training can lead to broader responsibilities and earlier exposure to leadership tracks within our perioperative teams.
- Competitive benefits: competitive weekly pay in the range of $1,228 to $1,289, with a completion-based bonus potential and housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing needs. We also offer contract extensions for outstanding performers, allowing you to lock in additional weeks and deepen your exposure to high-volume surgical services.
- Comprehensive support: travel and clinical support are designed around you. You’ll receive 24/7 assistance from a dedicated travel coordinator and clinical liaison, ensuring seamless housing, transportation, and on-site onboarding. Our team is available to help with credentialing, shift coordination, and any unexpected challenges that arise on assignment.
