Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Los Angeles, CA
Contracted
Adventist Health White Memorial
Mid Level
Answer the call to lead life-saving care as a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU in California’s vibrant hub of Los Angeles. This travel assignment places you at the forefront of critical care, where advanced technology meets compassionate teamwork, and every shift offers a chance to influence outcomes for seriously ill patients. Begin on 03/30/2026 and embrace a role that challenges you while supporting your growth within the ICU specialty. While you pursue this opportunity in Los Angeles, you’ll also have the option to experience other locations across the United States—expanding your clinical horizons while enriching your personal story. And beyond the hospital walls, California reveals a tapestry of beauty—from sunlit beaches to scenic canyons and world-class culture. The weather, the climate, and the energy of the city create an environment that inspires excellence and resilience, making each assignment more than a job—it’s a chapter in your professional journey.

Working in Los Angeles means access to some of the nation’s most renowned tertiary centers, trauma programs, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll benefit from exposure to diverse patient populations and state-of-the-art equipment, with opportunities to collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case managers in high-acuity environments. For travel nurses, the broader opportunity to work in different U.S. locations can translate into broad clinical experience, a robust professional network, and a dynamic resume. The city’s cultural richness and nearby natural wonders offer downtime that re-energizes you between demanding shifts, helping sustain your long-term dedication to patient care.

Key responsibilities include continuous patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, vasoactive support, arterial and central venous catheter care, rapid response coordination, and evidence-based bedside care. You’ll collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans, while maintaining strict infection control and patient safety standards. The role offers a clear path for professional growth: mastering critical care protocols, advancing skills in sedation and pain management, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring less experienced staff on future assignments. The program is designed to be competitive and rewarding: weekly pay between $1,896 and $1,956, with assignment duration listed as Weeks and no guaranteed hours (0.0). In addition, you’ll have access to a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance or a housing stipend, and opportunities to extend your assignment if you’re enjoying the experience and the unit needs align with your career goals. Our 24/7 support network ensures you’re never alone—our travel specialists, clinical liaisons, and concierge services are available around the clock to resolve scheduling, housing, credentialing, or clinical questions so you can stay focused on patient care.

At the core, we empower our nurses to advance in their careers while preserving work-life balance. We are committed to a supportive, inclusive environment where your clinical expertise is recognized, your voice matters, and your professional development is a shared priority. Through structured orientation, ongoing education, peer mentorship, and leadership pathways, you’ll find a culture that rewards initiative and curiosity, not just credentials. Our values center on patient-centered care, teamwork, continuous improvement, and integrity—the foundations that help you thrive in fast-paced ICU settings. You’ll join a community that celebrates your achievements and stands with you as you navigate complex cases, urgent decisions, and compassionate care for patients and families in their most vulnerable moments.
