Role specifics and benefits:
- Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including ventilator management, vasoactive medication titration, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, arterial/central line care, sedation and analgesia management, and tailored delirium prevention strategies. Lead and participate in daily rounds, implement evidence-based protocols, interpret telemetry and lab data, perform rapid response and code procedures as needed, coordinate with respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and physicians, document precisely in the EHR, and play a central role in family communication and discharge planning. Uphold rigorous infection control, trauma-informed care, and patient safety standards while mentoring junior staff and supporting bedside nurses.
