Role specifics and benefits. As a Med Surg Tele RN, you’ll deliver continuous, telemetry-guided care to medical-surgical patients, including observation, assessment, and early intervention for acute changes. Key responsibilities include accurate patient assessment and documentation, IV therapy, medication administration, telemetry interpretation, wound and drain care, infusion therapy, and responsive response to rapid changes in patient conditions. You’ll participate in care planning, collaborate with physicians and case managers, coordinate with rehabilitation services, and lead patient and family education on disease management, discharge planning, and follow-up needs.
