Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Pella, IA
Contracted
Pella Regional Health Center
Mid Level
Embark on a meaningful journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pella, Iowa, where compassionate care meets a community that celebrates service. In this role you will provide essential nursing support across patient care settings, partnering with RNs and physicians to ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for every patient. Imagine applying your hands-on skills to help families navigate health challenges, while growing professionally in a town famed for its Dutch heritage, scenic streets, and welcoming neighborhoods. This opportunity begins on February 4, 2026, with multiple weeks of assignment and options to extend, inviting you to contribute deeply from day one.
Working in Pella offers the best of small-town life with access to modern healthcare facilities, professional collaboration, and a manageable pace that allows you to focus on patient relationships. The area is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, excellent schools, parks, and cultural events such as the Tulip Time festival and nearby lake recreation. For those seeking broader experiences, there are opportunities to work at partner sites across Iowa and even other U.S. locations, delivering variety while maintaining the security of guaranteed hours. You’ll enjoy the balance of a grounded community ethos and the excitement that comes with travel nursing—where you can maintain stability while exploring new settings, communities, and patient populations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments under supervision, administering medications per care plans, monitoring vital signs, documenting changes, and assisting with activities of daily living. You will collaborate with RNs, care teams, and families to implement individualized care plans, support wound care, injections, IVs as permitted, and participate in safety protocols and infection control. In this role you can expect professional growth through expanded LPN duties, cross-training in geriatrics, palliative care, and chronic disease management, and the potential to step into leadership roles as you gain experience. We offer competitive benefits designed to support you: a weekly pay range of $1,227 to $1,282, a sign-on or performance bonus where applicable, housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing, and extension opportunities to keep you in a role that fits your career path. You will have guaranteed 40 hours per week, a reliable schedule, and dedicated support to help you thrive while traveling with the company. Our 24/7 travel support line ensures you are never alone on the road; from the moment you accept an assignment to when you return home, we stand by you with resources, guidance, and a responsive care team.
At the core, the company is committed to empowering its nursing staff, offering clear pathways for career advancement, continuous education, mentorship, and a collaborative work environment where your contributions are recognized and valued. You’ll join a culture that prioritizes patient-centered care, professional development, and a spirit of service that mirrors Iowa's friendly hospitality. The organization understands that your growth fuels better outcomes for patients and communities, and it provides structured onboarding, ongoing clinical support, and opportunities to specialize in areas that align with your interests and long-term goals. Whether you’re drawn to skilled nursing, acute care clinics, or home-based supports, you will find pathways that build confidence, expand responsibilities, and broaden your professional horizon, all while maintaining a compassionate focus on those under your care.
