Keene, NH

Keene Center
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in the vibrant Granite State, anchored in the welcoming town of Keene, New Hampshire, with opportunities to extend your impact across diverse communities throughout the United States. This is more than a position; it’s a mission to restore mobility, reduce pain, and empower patients to reclaim independence in their daily lives. You’ll collaborate closely with seasoned physical therapists, embracing a patient-centered approach that blends hands-on care with evidence-based practice. As you travel, you’ll be part of a trusted team that values curiosity, compassion, and continuous learning, all while enjoying the beauty and authenticity of New Hampshire’s towns, coastline, and countryside. Keene’s charm—historic streets, lively arts and dining scenes, and easy access to outdoor adventures—offers a fulfilling home base between assignments, making every week as rewarding outside the clinic as it is inside.

Keene and its surroundings present a compelling backdrop for clinical excellence and personal well-being. The region offers crisp air, scenic trails, and year-round outdoor activities, from autumn foliage drives to winter hikes and summer festivals. The opportunity to work in Keene provides a close-knit community atmosphere, where collaboration with local therapists, physicians, and caregivers creates a meaningful, integrated approach to patient care. And for those inclined to explore further, this role also opens doors to locations across the U.S., delivering exposure to varied clinical settings—from outpatient clinics to inpatient rehabilitation facilities and SNFs—each offering unique case mixes that broaden your skill set, deepen your clinical reasoning, and enhance your professional versatility.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services as part of a comprehensive care plan. Core responsibilities include assisting the supervising PT with patient assessments, implementing prescribed treatment protocols, guiding therapeutic exercises and gait training, and facilitating activities of daily living that promote independence. You’ll observe and document patient progress, assist with manual therapy techniques as appropriate, ensure safe equipment setup, and contribute to discharge planning by communicating patient milestones with the care team. The position provides meaningful opportunities to grow within the specialty, enabling you to deepen expertise in orthopedics, neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics, or industrial/ergonomic applications, depending on assignment needs and your career interests. The travel model supports continuous learning through exposure to different populations, facilities, and practice styles, all while keeping your clinical skills sharp and adaptable.

Compensation and benefits are designed to recognize your expertise and commitment. The role offers a competitive weekly pay range of $1,600-$1,669, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week, and a start date of 01/19/2026 for a weeks-long engagement that can extend based on mutual fit and agency needs. In addition to base pay, you’ll have access to a performance-based bonus, housing assistance to ease transition, and the potential for contract extensions that align with your career trajectory. The company provides comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the organization, ensuring you have reliable guidance, resources, and backup whenever you need it—whether you’re acclimating to a new facility, navigating a complex caseload, or coordinating with local teams. This holistic support sits at the center of what we do, helping you stay focused on patient outcomes while you travel with confidence.

Our values are rooted in empowering staff to advance professionally within a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll be encouraged to expand your competencies, pursue relevant certifications, and take on leadership opportunities that align with your goals. The organization recognizes that your growth fuels better patient care, stronger teams, and more resilient communities. You’ll find a culture that celebrates curiosity, treats colleagues with respect, and prioritizes work-life balance even as you embark on diverse assignments across the country. The result is a rewarding career path where your contribution matters, your development is nurtured, and your professional identity as a Physical Therapy Assistant is strengthened with each new placement.
