Travel Radiation Therapy Job

Lodi, CA
Contracted
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial
Mid Level
Seize a remarkable opportunity as a Travel Radiation Therapist in California, where your expertise will illuminate patient care across diverse settings while you chart a personal path of growth and discovery. In this specialty, your hands, eyes, and clinical insight translate complex treatment plans into compassionate, precise care that helps patients reclaim strength and hope. As you embark on a travel assignment beginning December 1, 2025, you’ll join a collaborative network that values your autonomy, honors your contributions, and supports your professional evolution. Imagine guiding patients through challenging moments, optimizing treatment delivery, and learning from leading clinicians as you rotate through facilities that prize excellence. And when you’re not in the clinic, California’s landscapes offer a tapestry of beauty—from the rolling vineyards of Lodi and the surrounding wine country to the Sierra Nevada’s peaks, the sunlit coastline, and the ancient redwoods, all within reach for weekend escapes or longer explorations.

Situated in Lodi, you’ll experience a community renowned for its warmth, vibrant local culture, and access to outstanding amenities. Lodi’s welcoming neighborhoods and practical proximity to Sacramento, the Bay Area, and Northern California’s outdoor playgrounds create an ideal backdrop for a balance between professional focus and personal renewal. The opportunity to work in a renowned radiation therapy program here means you’ll be part of teams that embrace precision, safety, and patient-centered care, while you also enjoy the conveniences of a supportive city environment. Should you crave the variety of travel, this role also opens doors to assignments across the U.S., enabling you to broaden your clinical perspective, encounter different treatment machines and planning approaches, and cultivate adaptability that only a diversified portfolio of experiences can deliver. Across locations, you’ll find communities with distinct charms—historic districts, museums, farmers’ markets, and nature trails—each offering unique opportunities to recharge after the day’s work.

Role specifics and benefits are designed to empower your growth as a Radiation Therapy professional. In this travel capacity, you’ll deliver external beam radiotherapy with meticulous attention to setup accuracy, immobilization, and patient comfort, ensuring precise dose delivery according to prescribed treatment plans. You’ll perform patient positioning verification, image-guided alignment, and real-time QA checks, collaborating closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and therapy aides to optimize outcomes. You’ll participate in simulation, treatment planning handoffs, and adaptive workflows, contributing to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice. Your responsibilities extend to patient education—explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and supporting emotional well-being during a challenging phase of care. The role is structured to promote professional growth: exposure to a variety of equipment platforms, evolving techniques, and best practices across multiple facilities; opportunities to pursue advanced certifications or specialty training; potential leadership pathways as you gain experience and demonstrate reliability. You’ll receive competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $2,746–$2,908, recognizing the travel nature of the role, along with a bonus program, housing assistance, and opportunities to extend contracts based on performance and facility needs. While this position begins with initial engagements of several weeks, many assignments offer extension opportunities, enabling continuity with supportive teams and ongoing skill development. Comprehensive, round-the-clock support is provided while you travel with the company, including 24/7 access to a dedicated travel operations team, clinical liaisons, and on-site coordinators to troubleshoot issues, coordinate housing, and streamline every transition you undertake. This is care with continuity—your expertise remains at the heart of every patient’s healing journey, even as you move from site to site.

The company’s values center on empowering staff, fostering career advancement, and cultivating a nurturing, collaborative work environment. You’ll join a culture that prioritizes mentorship, transparent communication, and constructive feedback, ensuring you feel valued, heard, and supported at every step. Our inclusive, team-first approach encourages you to take ownership of your professional trajectory—whether that means refining procedural proficiency, expanding into leadership roles, or contributing to program development and quality improvement. The environment is built on trust, respect, and a shared mission: deliver extraordinary cancer care while investing in the people who do it. Your voice matters here, and your growth is measured not only by patient outcomes but also by the breadth of opportunities you pursue, the resources available to you, and the collaborations you forge with multidisciplinary teams.

If you’re ready to join a dynamic, mission-driven travel program that honors your clinical expertise and your personal ambitions, this is the opportunity to apply. Embrace the chance to impact patients’ lives in Lodi and beyond, while advancing your skills through exposure to diverse settings, supportive leadership, and a network that stands behind you every step of the way. This role invites you to contribute meaningfully to radiation therapy practice, explore California’s rich landscapes, and build a resilient career designed for long-term impact. Ready to redefine what’s possible in your professional journey? Apply now and become part of a team that values your dedication, capabilities, and potential to shape the future of cancer care.
