Role specifics and benefits: As a Med Surg RN, you’ll be accountable for delivering high quality, individualized patient care across a broad spectrum of conditions. Core responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, vigilant monitoring of vital signs, administration of medications, IV therapy, wound care, routine post op checks, managing drains and catheters, pain management, patient and family education, and coordinating with physicians, physical therapy, case management, and social work to facilitate safe discharges. You’ll chart meticulously, advocate for patient safety, and participate in unit based quality improvement initiatives. The position offers competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1,591 to $1,660, and guaranteed hours of 32.0 per week, ensuring financial predictability while you focus on care quality.
