Role Specifics and Benefits: In Med Surg Tele, your core responsibilities include direct patient care, performing telemetry monitoring, recognizing changes in status, and coordinating with teams for timely discharges. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; administer medications; provide patient education on disease processes and post-discharge care; and document accurately in the electronic medical record. This role emphasizes growth through mentorship, exposure to high-acuity telemetry, and opportunities to assume leadership responsibilities on the unit during rotations.
