This is your opportunity to deepen perioperative expertise in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment while delivering exceptional patient care and shaping outcomes that matter. Imagine collaborating with seasoned surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and skilled nurses in a setting that honors precision, adaptability, and empathy. When your shift ends, you’ll find Arizona’s natural splendor calling you to trails, sunsets, and wide-open skies—from the red rock vistas of nearby landscapes to the quiet star-filled nights that make recovery feel lighter. Tuba City itself sits at the crossroads of culture and community, a place where professional pride and personal discovery go hand in hand, and every case you handle strengthens your confidence for the next challenge.
Location Benefits: Working in Tuba City offers you a gateway to a distinctive Arizona experience—a region rich in heritage, stunning geography, and outdoor adventures that renew energy for the next day’s cases. You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in a tight-knit community while providing top-tier surgical care. And because this is a travel opportunity, there is the possibility to work in various locations across the United States, expanding your clinical repertoire and exposing you to differing hospital cultures, state-of-the-art equipment, and a broad spectrum of procedures. This blend of place-based beauty and professional versatility means you’ll not only perform at your best in the OR but also build stories and connections that endure long after the last suture is placed.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As the OR RN, you’ll play a pivotal role in the surgical team. Your daily responsibilities include preparing the operating room for procedures, assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile technique, selecting and handling instrumentation, counting and tracking supplies, and supporting anesthesia teams for patient safety. You’ll scrub in and circulate as needed, monitor patients’ status before, during, and after procedures, and communicate clearly with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless, efficient operations. This role is designed to foster growth within the OR specialty—whether you’re expanding proficiency in general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, or specialty procedures—through mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you demonstrate mastery. The compensation package is competitive and enhanced by a bonus structure, housing assistance, and the potential for contract extensions to align with staffing needs and your career goals. You’ll receive a guaranteed 36.0 hours per week, with weekly pay in the range of $2,266-$2,407, and final figures confirmed during the hiring process. To support your journey, you’ll have access to a dedicated travel liaison, credentialing assistance, and flexible housing options that may include company-arranged housing or stipends to secure suitable accommodations near the facility. Comprehensive onboarding ensures you step into the role confidently, with clear expectations, up-to-date protocols, and immediate access to clinical resources as you acclimate to new environments. And because travel can be demanding, you’ll benefit from 24/7 support from the company, ensuring you and your patients receive continuous, responsive guidance no matter the hour or location.

We recognize the expertise that travel nurses bring and invest in ongoing education, professional development, and leadership opportunities that can propel you toward your next role—whether that’s deeper specialization within the OR, cross-functional roles, or management tracks.
