In this role, the key responsibilities center on operating state-of-the-art CT scanners with precision, selecting and adjusting acquisition protocols to optimize image quality and diagnostic value, preparing patients through careful communication, administering contrast agents safely when clinically indicated, and ensuring radiation safety standards are followed. You’ll conduct routine equipment QA, monitor dose optimization and safety practices, and collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and nursing teams to maintain smooth workflow and high patient satisfaction. You’ll have a clear path for professional growth—from mastering advanced CT techniques and dose optimization to pursuing cross-training in related modalities or leadership responsibilities as you gain site-to-site experience. Your compensation reflects the market value of this specialty, with weekly pay in the range of $2,260 to $2,436, and guaranteed hours of 33 per week. The position is described as weeks in duration, with extension opportunities contingent on performance and ongoing staffing needs.
