Travel Physical Therapy Assistant Job
Tacoma, WA
Contracted
Powerback - Contract Orchard Park Health and Rehabilitation Center
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a travel care environment that centers on impact, growth, and compassionate patient care. In this role, you’ll partner with experienced physical therapists to carry out targeted treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, assist with gait and balance training, and monitor progress to ensure safe, meaningful gains. Your hands-on clinical skills will translate into real-life improvements—helping patients regain independence, reduce pain, and return to daily activities they love. You’ll thrive in an environment that values patient-centered outcomes, evidence-based practice, and teamwork, where every session reinforces the crucial role you play in the rehabilitation continuum. While you grow clinically, you’ll also enjoy the freedom and adventure that comes with traveling to different clinics, building a diverse professional portfolio, and expanding your clinical confidence through exposure to varied patient populations and settings. Washington in particular offers a dynamic backdrop for this work: a region renowned for its emerald landscapes, vibrant communities, and a lifestyle that blends outdoor exploration with urban accessibility. And beyond the clinic walls, you’ll discover Washington’s beauty—from the rugged Olympic coastline and the serene waters of Puget Sound to the majestic peaks of the Cascades and the lush forests that define the Pacific Northwest. These inspirational surroundings provide balance, renewal, and renewed focus as you invest in your patients and your career.
